Role within TEN

With a background in Saas and D2C propositions Hein automatically tends towards platform and digital solutions. As a company operator he supports founders in successful go-to-market through activation and development of channels, proposition and business model.

Background

His time at mobility-tech start-up Toogethr marked a career defining moment for Hein. Facing high churn and low product activity, Toogethr had a challenge of its own. Biased decision making in earlier experience drove him to build the company customer and data centric. In high pace execution, proposition, product and channels were pivoted, backed by multiple data points including interviews of 800+ unique users. Within 5 months product/market fit was reached. Toogethr grew to 100.000 paying users within the same year to successfully exit 2 years later. 

Hein has always been on the frontier of the start-up landscape. With bicycle brand Johnny Loco as initiator of lifestyle branding while introducing influencer and ambassador marketing.

With luggage company Travelteq as one of the first EU D2C companies driving growth through pioneering in online-PR and smart retargeting. 

Hein advised and actively supported multiple start-ups. He also has strong digital experience; i.e. as e-commerce lead at Praxis DIY.

Personal

Hein is a healthy mix of northern perseverance and southern openness and joy. His 2 daughters are his pride.
